Memes were created in 1976 by Richard Dawkins in one of his books which was named The Selfish Gene.Memes were first proposed by Mike Godwin in June 1993.Nowadays you can find lots of meme pages on the internet and some of the pages have over 10 million followers on Instagram.
The evolution of Memes
As you can see in those pictures memes had developed very much during 40 years. People became very creative and imaginative with creating memes and people enjoy it .Some people takes making memes as a job and they get paid. You can tell that it is such a difference in those memes.People takes pictures of people or even celebrities and turn them into memes
Why memes became famous?
Memes are fun and it attracts teens and millennial to look at them everyday.There are lots of memes on earth each of them have different themes.Some of the memes are about politics,religions,Presidents and some of them are about what is trending nowadays (example-Deleallichallange,Logan Paul going to Japan,KSI vs Logan Paul). Some people got money by making jobs and they take it as a job.Sometimes celebrities become memes too and it is funny when the celebrities react to them.
